Visits – History
At East Dene visits play a huge part of our history curriculum mapping. We are very fortunate to have Clifton Park Museum close which offers a range of history workshops and experiences. We have visited Liverpool to go to museums linked to our Slavery and Ernest Shackleton topics to enhance and enrich the learning taking place in the classroom. We attend remembrance services linked to our World War topics as well as visits to seaside destinations for Y1s transport and seaside changes through time topics.
