Swimming at East Dene
At East Dene we want all children to be proficient swimmers by the time they transition to secondary school. All children access a 12 week swimming block in Year 4, where they are taught by trained swimming instructors at Rotherham Leisure Complex. Any child who has not achieved Level 1 at the end of the period will then access another 12 week swimming block.
% of Children Achieving National Expectations
It is now a requirement for primary schools to publish swimming data linked to their current Y6 pupils.
